Chairman of DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors Forum, Engr. Ogie Samson has said that the outgoing 2024 year was challenging but members survived.
Ogie Samson spoke during the Thanksgiving Service held at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, at NPA Expressway, Close to NigerCat and reception/ End of Year Party at Duraf Hotel and Suites Limited, Close to Jeddo/Nigeria Gas Junction.
The DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors Forum Chairman, along with his Secretary, Prince Charles Ebigbagha and other Executives led members to the Thanksgiving Service and the End of Year Party.
Ogie Samson said the event was put together to appreciate God considering that DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors faced several challenges in the execution of their jobs but expressed gratitude to God for surmounting them in 2024.
The Forum's Boss however expressed the hope that the incoming 2025 would be better with the cooperations of the management of DESOPADEC and the state Governor, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
He stated that the Thanksgiving Service was organized to appreciate God in the lives of members of the Forum and pray for greater achievements in the coming 2025.
Ogie Samson also said the 2024 end of year party, which is becoming an annual event, was to gather and celebrate with members, their family and friends and also for stocktaking and repositioning for the coming year.
During the end of year party, members reviewed their relationship with management and staff of DESOPADEC which they agreed was cordial and expressed the desire to sustain the tempo.
